Containers use Discord’s Components v2 layout instead of classic embeds. They work anywhere adore accepts embed code, including welcome messages, ticket panels, ,lastfm mode, and more. Start your template with {container} on its own line (or at the beginning of the string), then add parameters separated by $v.
Use variables inside any text parameter, just like embeds.

Structure

The same rules as embeds apply:
  • { begins a parameter.
  • : separates the parameter name from its content.
  • $v separates parameters.
  • } ends a parameter.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a new line?

Press SHIFT + ENTER inside a text: or section: block, same as embed descriptions.

Why isn’t my container working?

  1. Make sure the template starts with {container}.
  2. For commands that accept plain text or embed code, prefix with {container}$v so adore knows you’re sending a layout message.
  3. Containers cannot use the classic {title: ...} or {field: ...} embed ; use {text: ...} instead.
